Position: Welding Process Quality Coordinator (m/w/d)

Location: Heilbronn
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure precise execution and monitoring of welding processes according to technical and construction requirements.
• Oversee the quality and compliance of weld seams, verifying dimensional accuracy and adherence to welding sequences.
• Conduct thorough inspections of weld preparations and finished welds, ensuring conformity with specifications.
• Manage and verify the suitability and handling of welding materials, equipment, and auxiliary tools.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to welding personnel, supporting quality assurance and process improvement.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) including visual inspection (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and ultrasonic testing (UT) on welds and base materials.
• Document all inspection and test results meticulously to guarantee traceability and compliance with applicable standards.
• Identify deviations or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate closely with quality management and production teams to revise and optimize welding procedures and inspection methods.
• Represent supervisors during their absence, managing workflow and workplace organization.
• Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards following 5S and SQCDP principles.
• Assist in planning and coordinating production orders with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in metalworking or a related technical field, with several years of practical experience.
• Solid expertise in MAG welding processes, ideally supported by current welding certification.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications.
• Experienced in performing and evaluating non-destructive testing methods.
• Preferably hold a forklift license and/or authorization to operate bridge and portal cranes.
• Demonstrate high commitment, responsibility, and initiative with a collaborative team spirit.
