What you'll do

We are looking for a motivated AI Data Engineering Working Student to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our team of AI Data Engineers who are responsible for managing our key data assets, crucial for driving our AI initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to various stages of data management and AI.

Specifically, your tasks are:

  • Assist AI Data Engineers in the extraction, acquisition, storage, transformation, annotation and curation of data as well as in engineering the underlying data pipelines.
  • Support the team in managing data assets, ensuring the quality and reliability of the data.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, understanding their needs and helping to supply them with the appropriate data.
  • Work with multiple partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, tools, and systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data management practices.

    • The job is a very good opportunity to collect professional experience and get insights into SAP. We are a young team and offer an international and cooperative working atmosphere. We offer flexible working hours and hybrid work. The average weekly working time should be at least 15 hours.

    What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in python, good understanding of data management principles and techniques.
  • Hands-on knowledge in cloud stack (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud software development, Metaflow or knowledge graphs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Excellent English communication and comprehension skills.

    Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
