In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Package Consultant: SAP FIN CO, you will implement and configure SAP FIN CO solutions for clients, serving as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and trusted business advice. You will utilize your deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions and achieve client expectations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Configure Solutions: Design and configure SAP FIN CO solutions to meet client needs, ensuring successful project delivery and high-quality results.
• Analyze Business Requirements: Understand and analyze business requirements to develop effective solutions that meet client expectations.
• Deliver Comprehensive Solutions: Develop and implement comprehensive solutions, leveraging knowledge of the area and working with the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Embody IBM core values while delivering project goals, building trust with clients and team members through clear communications, inclusivity, and innovation.
• Ensure Successful Project Delivery: Focus on strategic solution delivery, working across technical design, development, and implementation to ensure simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.
This position will be based within the Business Application service line.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in SAP FIN CO: Proven ability to design, configure, and implement SAP FIN CO solutions, with a deep understanding of the system and its applications.
• Experience with Solution Development: Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive solutions that meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of the area and working with the latest technologies.
• Business Requirements Analysis: Experienced in understanding and analyzing business requirements to develop effective solutions that meet client expectations.
• Techno-Functional Solution Expertise: Adept at integrating packaged technology solutions to achieve client expectations, utilizing business and industry knowledge, and business processes.
• Certification in SAP Solutions: Possesses certification in SAP solutions, demonstrating expertise and knowledge in the field.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• SAP Industry Solutions Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry-specific SAP solutions and their applications, enabling effective integration with client business processes.
• Advanced SAP Configuration: Experience with advanced SAP configuration options, including custom code development and implementation, to meet complex client requirements.
• SAP Project Management: Familiarity with SAP project management methodologies, including Agile and ASAP, to ensure successful project delivery and high-quality results.
