For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Aerodynamics Engineer - Dataset Team/Modelling (d/f/m)
The role fits into the Aerodynamic Engineering - Dataset Team/ Modelling in the area of "Flight Physics", within the department Aerodynamic Dataset.
Your Tasks The job holder works as an Aerodynamic Engineer and contributes to designing aerodynamic datasets of combat aircraft and pushing the modelling of the aerodynamic
characteristics to the next level by developing and applying machine learning and data fusion techniques.
The Main tasks are:
Analyze and assess the aerodynamic characteristics of high agility fighter aircraft
Model and design aerodynamic datasets throughout the envelope for stability & control, performance, and loads assessments
Perform flight test data analysis
Ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability of aerodynamic data
Support the preparation and conduction of wind tunnel and flight test programs
Your Profile Education: Master´s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
IT: Detailed knowledge of Python and MS-Office.
Good programming skills in Fortran as well as familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems are
a must have.
Profound knowledge in aerodynamics and flight mechanics with an affinity to fighter aircraft is
required
Languages: English fluent. Good knowledge of German is a plus.
