Stellenbeschreibung
- Analyze flight test data and perform parameter estimation and model validation and Develop and refine aerodynamic models for fixed-wing aircraft, with focus on stall, post-stall, and aerobatic flight regimes
- Execute simulations and perform verification and validation of flight dynamics models
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and tuning of autopilot and control systems using MATLAB & Simulink and Develop models for aircraft systems such as propulsion, control surfaces, and sensors
- Integrate and test flight models within flight simulation environments and Improve model accuracy based on comparison with real flight data and simulation results
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and the wider simulation team
Anforderungsprofil
- Completed studies in the field of Engineering
- Work experience in the field of flight dynamics and aerodynamic modeling, developing mathematical models of fixed-wing aircraft aerodynamics under extreme conditions such as stall, post-stall, and aerobatic flight and flight test data analysis and parameter estimation and autopilot or control system design using MATLAB & Simulink
- Very good programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink
- Fluent in English
