Test Engineer Aerospace Talent Pool (m/f/d)

At Tintschl Technik GmbH, we are continuously looking for qualified Test Engineers to support exciting projects with leading companies in the aerospace and defence sector.
This position is part of our talent pool for current and upcoming aerospace projects across Germany.
Your Tasts Depending on the project and your area of expertise, your responsibilities may include:
Planning, preparation and execution of test, integration, verification and validation activities for complex aerospace, avionics and defence systems
Analysis of system, software and customer requirements and derivation of appropriate test cases, test scenarios and test procedures
Definition and implementation of manual and automated test procedures
Execution of functional, integration, system and acceptance tests
Testing of complex hardware/software systems, subsystems and interfaces
Integration and testing of avionics equipment, electronic components, LRUs and simulation environments
Verification of system interfaces and communication between different subsystems
Analysis of test results, logs and system behaviour
Identification, documentation and investigation of software, hardware and system anomalies
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis in cooperation with development, systems and integration teams
Preparation of test specifications, test reports and technical documentation
Support of test campaigns on test benches, rigs, simulators or integration platforms
Development and maintenance of test automation solutions and test environments
Configuration and preparation of systems and test equipment for verification activities
Support of qualification, certification and acceptance activities
Ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases and test results
Collaboration with Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware and other interdisciplinary teams
Ensuring compliance with applicable aerospace standards, development processes and customer requirements
Your Profile Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or a comparable technical field
Professional experience in Testing, Verification & Validation, System Integration or Test Engineering , ideally within the aerospace, aviation or defence industry
Previous experience in an Airbus or comparable aerospace environment is highly preferred
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
System Testing
Software Testing
Avionics Testing
Integration & Verification
Hardware/Software Integration
Test Automation
Simulation and test environments
Test benches or test rigs
Experience in creating and executing test cases, test procedures and test specifications
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, C, C++ or similar is an advantage
Experience with test and engineering tools such as DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, TestStand, SCADE, Jira, Git or comparable tools is an advantage
Knowledge of avionics interfaces and communication protocols such as ARINC 429, AFDX, CAN, MIL-STD-1553 or similar technologies is a strong plus
Knowledge of aerospace standards and processes such as DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160 or comparable standards is an advantage
Good understanding of requirements-based testing, traceability, defect management and configuration management
Fluent English is required
German language skills are a strong plus
